Founder and Company Director, Nathan Mouldey, a Registered Master Builder, established Monohomes in 2011. Raised in Tauranga, Nathan leads the team alongside Project Managers Nick Price and Josh Jacka - seasoned craftsman with decades of experience executing complex homes throughout New Zealand, Australia and Canada. United by precision and passion, they thrive on creating unique and extraordinary builds.

We have forged strong relationships over 25 years with renowned Bay architects, interior designers, suppliers, contractors and local authorities to make the building process seamless and efficient. We can help you choose the right architect to match the style and scale you have in mind, or we can work alongside your existing architect to offer construction advice, building details, cost estimates and refine plans before your build gets underway. This collaborative approach helps avoid delays and minimises inefficiencies.

We pride ourselves on our customer service, communication and transparency. Each job is tailored to our client’s precise needs and thoroughly pre-planned to ensure coordination and efficiency. When an innovative approach is called for, we’re flexible enough to deliver. Clients are welcome to get involved in any areas they wish to but many opt to use our full on-site project management services. From initial concepts and design right through to post-construction compliance sign-off, we’ve got your project covered.
Local team
We employ a hand-picked team of 15 staff and have an ideal mix of experienced qualified builders, carpenters and apprentices, all of whom have an impressive work ethic. Monohomes only takes on a few projects at a time so we can deliver exceptional craftsmanship and service. This also enables our senior team members – Nathan, Nick and Josh – to deal directly with you, providing peace of mind that your project is in the best possible hands.
