Tauranga Pavilion

A refined architectural statement.

A defining architectural residence for the Tauranga region, this home designed by award-winning architects RTA Studio—is a masterclass in restraint, materiality, and form, creating a timeless setting for contemporary family living.

Composed as a series of low, horizontal planes, the single-level pavilion is designed to sit effortlessly within its coastal landscape. The architecture is anchored by striking in-situ concrete panels - raw, tactile, and expressive balanced by the warmth of vertical cedar cladding and finely detailed timber soffits.

Moments of sculptural intent are introduced throughout. Curved concrete openings soften the linear form, framing views and establishing a quiet dialogue between structure and landscape. Internal courtyards are carefully positioned to draw in natural light and greenery, strengthening the connection between interior spaces and the outdoors.

Drawing on mid-century influences through a contemporary lens, the home is defined by clean geometry, expansive glazing, and seamless transitions to outdoor living. Generous overhangs provide depth and shelter, while carefully considered proportions create a sense of calm, permanence, and ease.

Every detail has been meticulously considered and refined, setting the foundation for a home that will embody understated luxury, timeless design, and the precision synonymous with Monohomes.
